Managed to squeeze a few problems in today.

I did a few puzzles yesterday, but am trying to study for other things this week.

Day 12 & Day 13
I took two days off and spent most of my time studying for my job interview this Friday and a test I have Thursday.
Day 11
I did some exercises, but I’m distracted by preparing for the biggest interview of my life, so there won’t be many problems completed over the next week.

Day 10
I took yesterday off because I had a headache and wasn’t really in the chess mood.
Day 9
I worked on a “few” tactical exercises today. Things are going to be quite busy for me in the next week, so not sure how much chess I’ll be able to get in. Hopefully finishing level 20 in CT-Art and a review of the level 10 material.

Day 8
I played a slow game against the Chessmaster 10 personality “Alicia”, but it was an uneventful game and not worthy of posting. I won, but the engine “missed” an easy tactical blow so the win was rather empty. Playing as much chess on Facebook and two very slow games a week against a random Chessmaster personality has really helped illustrate some of the weaknesses in my game. I’ll be working to correct those weaknesses over the next two months in preparation for my first tournament.
I also did eighty-eight tactic problems on Level 20 in CT-Art. I’m doing a lot better on Level 20, now that I’ve worked a few of them. In addition to correcting the above weaknesses, I’m going to try to be done with Level 50 by my first tournament.

Day 7
Today I didn’t really feel like doing chess, so I stuck with it for 20 problems and called it a day. If you’ve not been following Kamsky-Topalov FIDE drama, you should; it’s going to get ugly over the next few days
