I’ve been playing chess casually all my life and I’ve always been pretty good for a casual player. The only chess tournament I have ever participated in was a K-8 tournament when I was thirteen years old. I had two wins, two loses and a bye giving me a rating of 715P.  After that I let my USCF membership expire, but I kept playing chess. Now I wish I had taken it more seriously and kept playing, I might actually have been a pretty good player by now.

This is site is really for me — to track my progress and help me focus my chess studies.
